A pulsatile-flow direct thrombosis-model that is validated using a novel PIV-based (Particle Image Velocimetry) in vitro synchronous clot and flow capture experiment that simultaneously captures motion of a fibrin clot strand and surrounding flow within an idealized aneurysm flow vessel.
