Excel-based supply-use analysis for South African GHG household emissions inequality estimation

This dataset draws on a preliminary household classification on the basis of per capita expenditure and income, linked to full expenditures from the Income and Expenditure Surveys for 2005/6 and 2010/11 and the Living Conditions Survey for 2015 conducted by StatsSA.
SUT multiplier analysis is demonstrated in Excel workbooks for each year, with integrated analysis and responsibility measures.
This dataset and analysis are the underlying calculations for a minor dissertation as part of the ACDI MSc in Climate and Development: "Income inequality and mitigation burdens: An examination of climate mitigation fair shares for South African households" by James Reeler
All data are derived from publicly-available datasets, and are referenced in the thesis document as well as within the files themselves.

6. CIOCOP-SU-CPC.xlsx: Tables to enable allocation of COICOP classes from IES/LCS to relevant CPC and supply-use SIC classifications. Includes automated classification with supplementary manual classification where necessary, and is limited primarily to consumption classes.
