This is the dataset relevant to the PhD thesis titled "Investigating red pigment production by Penicillium purpurogenum DSM 62866."

Red pigment production by this filamentous fungus was investigated using a range of cultivation conditions; medium compositions; and growth scales, including agar plate, multiwell plate, shake flask and benchtop bioreactor cultivation.
