This Khula South Africa dataset was used for analyses on the prevalence and profile of Iron Deficiency Anaemia with adjustment for inflammation in pregnant women, postpartum women, and infants. It includes data on demographic variables as well as haematological metrics, iron metrics, and inflammatory biomarkers from the Khula South Africa cohort. Khula is a longitudinal birth cohort study that aims to characterise emerging executive functions in the first 1000 days of life in South Africa and Malawi.
