The impact of human rights violations on identity, and how theatre and performative writing engages with this.

The feedback forms presented reflect identity, human rights, storytelling, and how abuse in prison affected the sense of identity. The feedback form questions are based on the the workshops in the fieldwork study, Rewriting, Redefining, Reclaiming Identity. The questions as participants about their past and present sense of identity. It asks them about the impact of violations on their sense of identity. It asks them about their growth since exploring these experiences through performative writing. The reflection transcriptions provide further insight into the experiences of poor healthcare, living conditions, safety issues, and the disregard for human dignity. Participants of the study provide these testimonies.
