This survey was developed in 2019 by the Digital Open Textbooks for Development (DOT4D) project at the University of Cape Town as part of its open textbook research process. The survey explores UCT academics’ involvement in open textbook authoring and publication activity at UCT. The survey includes questions about demographic information, the use of technology, as well as personal reflections questions in order to understand academics’ teaching practices and personal motivations in relation to open textbook production.
