Chapter 1 RAA Soundscape Kachchh Gujarat

This soundscape was created for the Re-Centering Afro Asia Project in 2019 that sonically describes the region of Kachchh Gujarat India. It is composed of all the field recordings made during my pilot fieldwork for the RAA Project between 2018-2019. This was further used in musical performances: Re-centering Afro-Asia Project's A Sea-drift of Songs (2021) and the first iteration of my minor projectThe Note Will Carry Us (2020) which was part of the Postgraduate Studios course at the Centre for Theatre Dance and Performance Studies, UCT.
