This document provides material characterisation and tables with repurposing options for different coal value chain wastes, including partitioned coal processing wastes (recovered coal, sulfide enriched and sulfide lean coal processing waste), fly ash, flue gas desulfurisation gypsum, and acid mine drainage. The characterisation data is based on work done at the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Cape Town and is mostly based on data from coal waste originating in the Mpumalanga province.
