Why do we need clear guidelines on how to achieve social equity in nature-based approaches?

This infographic summarises what we learnt from the online survey we ran in 2021 and 2022 with researchers, practitioners and policy makers working in the environmental sector in southern Africa. We used this survey to capture their views on how social equity is or isn’t incorporated in the design, planning and implementation of nature-based solutions. In the infographic we describe what they said, and explain how we worked to address the problems that they identified.
