presentationposted on 17.03.2020, 15:00 by Sanjin MufticSanjin Muftic
Presentation given on 6th of March 2020 as part of UCT's celebration of Open Data Day.
This talk discusses the Reimagining Tragedy in Africa and the Global South (RETAGS) project which undertook a documenting process of one its initial theatrical performance pieces in 2019, Antigone (Not Quite/Quiet). It uses this initiative as an example of considering the sharing of "data" from a creative humanities perspective (within practice as research). It articulates the concerns around openness as well as the benefits of sharing such "cultural" data.
