Drakenstein Child Health Study (DCHS): School art project: co-developed school mural

This report details a novel interschool art initiative that allows junior school children to co-create a playground mural that incorporates their ideas of ‘abantu abanempilo ngabantu abanovuyo’ (‘Healthy people are happy people’). High school art students from different parts of Cape Town (Westerford High School (WFH), Claremont) and Paarl work together with some of the Mbekweni Primary School pupils to co-develop and complete a playground art mural at the Mbekweni Primary School.
