TRAFFIC and Compliance poaching indices are combined to provide an overall time series for poaching in absolute terms. The approach is applied to these indices separated by North and South areas. Results for four options for overall poaching time series are reported; these four series differ with respect to the value assumed for current local sales, which ranges from 200mt to 850mt (as last year). Comparisons to similar poaching trends developed in 2021 are also presented.
