International Review Panel Report for the 2024 International Fisheries Stock Assessment workshop.

The 2024 International Fisheries Stock Assessment Workshop covered a range of topics relevant to the development of management regimes that best achieve management goals. This high-quality research included work on the South African stocks of sardine, horse mackerel and squid. This report starts with observations from the Panel on some general issues for the species and analysis programmes reviewed, and then focuses on answering questions posed to the Panel, providing a more detailed technical review and recommendations where necessary. As in past years, much of this report reflects responses to the questions posed by the Fisheries Branch of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) to the Panel.
