South Coast Rock lobster OMP revision scheduled for 2022

This document provides a brief outline of the proposed South Coast rock lobster

OMP revision scheduled for 2022.

A new OMP (OMP-2022) for setting TACs for the South Coast rock lobster resource is to be developed and implemented for the 2022 season.

The following schedule is proposed to aid the progress of this development.

(1) All data input into a new assessment (Operating model) to be available end July 2021

· Catches to include the 2020 season

· CPUE standardised CPUE up to 2019

· Catch-at-length data up to 2019

(2) Updated assessments or operating models to be developed by end January 2022.
