Updated analyses of the Fisheries Independent Monitoring Survey data of the Rock Lobster resource of South Africa to include the 2020/21 season

Analyses of FIMS results are updated to include data for the 2020/21 season. Results show a decrease from the previous season’s index for the FIMS relative abundance index for Lambert’s Bay and an increase for Dassen Island and Saldanha Bay. The percentage of females, when compared to the previous season, has decreased somewhat in all Zones surveyed in the 2020/21 season, with the magnitude of the decrease being a little larger for Dassen Island.
