Updated trends in policing effort and the number of confiscations for abalone including compliance data until March 2015

GLM methods are applied to compliance data on confiscations (and abandonments) and on policing effort to estimate recent trends in the amount of abalone that is poached. The results suggest that poaching has decreased somewhat in the last year; however the estimated poaching levels are well above the required target.
