Investigating the impact on the South African sardine assessment of estimating Beverton Holt stock recruitment relationships during conditioning
The Sbase sardine assessment of de Moor (2025a,b) has been re‐run with the assumption that the recruitment of each stock follows a Beverton Holt stock recruitment relationship as one method to investigate the reliability of the point estimates of spawner biomass and recruitment.
