Projections of the west coast rock lobster resource using the 2024 stock assessments

This document presents biomass trajectories projected into the future for a number of different future constant catch (CC) scenarios. Focus is the B75m(2027/2023) statistic. Whilst results show some resource improvement, the resource is still estimated to be severely depleted. In order to be consistent with TAC advice given last year (2023) it is recommended that the TAC remain at 460mt for the 2024 season to allow the same extent of further recovery as sought for last year.
