This document continues a series of interchanges regarding the Robben Island penguin pressure model originally developed by Weller and co-authors. Here responses are made to comments by Weller and Sherley on earlier criticisms of the pressure model. These comments focus, inter alia, on the use of “expert opinion” to assign values to parameters and to the lack of fitting these parameters to available data.
