Responses to some of the arguments offered ICTT/13 are presented as they are considered problematic. Aside from ICTT/13 evidencing some technical issues which are elaborated upon, the document indicates a failure to understand the purpose of the island closure feasibility study; this is to estimate how long any closure experiment would need to continue to obtain statistically significant results for the impact of catches on penguin reproductive success.
