The way forward to model pack data for the chokka squid (Loligo reynaudii) resource of South Africa

Suggestions made by the International Workshop Panel in 2023 to modify the model structure to generate proportions by weight in each pack category of squid are reported in this paper. The assumptions made for the base case model to generate pack data are also given, with indications of changes required to address the suggestions by the Panel.
