This document details the process that was applied to determine the current growth parameter values which were used in the most recent assessments for all four islands of the Tristan da Cunha group. Detailed analyses of more recently collected growth increment data obtained from tagging are reported. Whilst the recent tagging data do indicate some differences compared with earlier data, it is recommended that further tagging data should be continued to be collected for several more years in order to increase the recaptured lobster sample size to be able to obtain more reliable results. Any updated information about the time of the moult cycle at each island (for both sexes) would be especially advantageous. It is recommended that updated growth curves for males from all four islands, and for Gough females be reexamined using the pivot method and applied to the centroid of the tagging data for the island in question.
